Your team on their phones

The phone app answers one question for each teammate: what needs me, and what can I finish now. It runs over the same workspace, permissions and records as the console — approving an order on a phone is the same decision as approving it at a desk.

Install it

There is no app store step. Open m.tephlo.com/install on the phone; the page works out what that phone needs:

AndroidUse Chrome. Tap Install, then confirm. If the button has not appeared yet, Chrome's menu (⋮) has Install app or Add to Home screen. Opened in Samsung Internet, Firefox or another browser, the page offers to reopen it in Chrome.
iPhone and iPadUse Safari. Tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then open the app from the home screen and sign in there. An iPhone sends notifications only to an app on its home screen, so this step comes first. Some iPhone browsers, Brave among them, have no Add to Home Screen: open the page in Safari, which always does.
Inside another appA link opened inside WhatsApp, Instagram or a similar app lands in a browser that cannot install anything. The page offers to open Chrome (Android) or says how to open Safari (iPhone).
On a computerThe page shows a QR code: point the phone's camera at it.

Each teammate signs in with their usual account. Once installed, the app opens full screen from its own icon, like any other app.

Get your team onto it

In the console, Account → Phone app shows a QR code, a button that emails the link to the signed-in person's own address, and the link to copy. A short line at the top of the console points there until it is dismissed. Invitations to new teammates mention the phone app too, so a new teammate can install it as soon as they have joined.

What each person sees

Today lists the work waiting for that person, filtered by their permissions the moment they open it: customers waiting for a person, orders to approve, appointments to confirm, complaints, knowledge and Smart Updates waiting for review, connections that have stopped, and plan warnings. Each card opens the exact item. Someone whose role has no queue sees an honest empty screen rather than work they cannot open.

The tabs follow the same rule and never rearrange themselves when a queue empties. Inbox shows one row per customer matter, with who is handling it; a teammate can take a matter over, reply, hand it back, resolve it or — with the assign permission — give it to a colleague. Work holds orders, appointments (confirm, decline, cancel, or move to another open time) and customer requests. Content, where the media library is available, adds a product photo straight from the camera, filed against a catalogue product, and publishes photos waiting for review. More holds complaints, Smart Updates, knowledge review and read-only views of the team, plan and usage, the assistant, reports, connections and privacy records. See team and access for which permission opens what; an Assigned Support Agent sees only the matters given to them.

Before a decision can be confirmed, the screen shows what it is about — the customer, the items and the total for an order; the service and the time for an appointment — and it reports a result only once the workspace has accepted it.

Notifications

Where your platform has notifications switched on, each teammate turns them on under More → Notifications on their own phone. A phone is told about new work that person may act on — a matter assigned to them, an order or appointment waiting for a decision, a complaint, a usage warning or a failed plan payment for the people who handle billing — and nobody is told about work their role cannot open. The lock screen shows only what kind of work it is, never a customer's name or words; tapping it opens the item.

Each person sets their own quiet hours and chooses which kinds to mute. Only work marked urgent can break through quiet hours, and only for someone who chose to allow it. Signing out of the app on a phone stops notifications to that phone; removing a teammate from the workspace stops them on every phone.

Replies and connection

A reply shows what became of it: Sending…, Sent, and on WhatsApp Delivered and Read. Not sent means it did not go and can be sent again; Not confirmed means the workspace could not confirm it went, so check the conversation before sending it twice.

With a weak connection, Today can show the copy the phone saved, with how old it is. A reply being written is kept on the phone until it can be sent. Approvals, confirmations and other decisions are never queued: they need a connection at the moment they are made.

What stays on the desktop

Setting up the assistant, bulk imports, channel connections, roles and invitations, plan and payment changes, keys and webhooks, and privacy exports and erasures are done in the console, where the whole picture and a second factor are available. The phone app shows the state of these areas and links to the console for changes.
